What about Yoga?

 

My practice comes from Sivananda Vedanta Yoga and with my growing to the work around pregnancy and support this beautiful and powerful process, I learned and offer at the moment mainly yoga for and around pregnancy.

 

In our yoga classes we combine some birth preparations, tipps for a healthy pregnancy, guided imagination, positive affirmations, connection and communication with the one inside, our embryo. It is done in a relaxed atmosphere, with candles and special etheric oils to support our deep relaxation.

Aside the deep relaxation we reach, we work on strengthening the body, accepting, welcoming and adjusting to the ongoing changes, getting to know our pelvic floor and getting ready for the birth we wish to have with embracing of the unknown.

 

We emphasize our individual bodies and processes and listening inside so we can grow in our practice in best way.

 

We put attention on answering questions, advising and approaching special needs, fears and expectations.

 

Because of my education and work as a Doula  and birth preparation guide, each class I introduce some of the support methods, some good reading and watching, nutrition tips and information from wide spectrum of the alternative medicine.

 

It is a great chance to meet other pregnant women in your area and create your special supportive community!
